Is it a stool or a table?
A table. The little round metal disc on a bent steel pole looks exactly like a minimalist stool, which is the whole joke: the first customer sits on it with total confidence. When the second customer sets a cup on the identical one, it's clear it was a table all along.
Nobody says a word. The laugh comes from the seconds after that, when the person on the table works it out, tries to look casual and climbs down as if it had been the plan. That's why the template keeps the original timing: the pause is the punchline.
If you've ever walked into a very minimalist cafe and not known where to sit, you already get it.
